This is the definition of bittersweet. C.J. McGehee, 13, has terminal lung disease. But he has a home. C.J. and his mother Sandra - who has multiple scleoris - were soon to be homeless after the condo they rented was sold, and Orlando's expensive rental market left them unable to find another home. After my paper told their story in February, offers of support poured in. Monday, the mother and son moved into a newly renovated home, provided by a reader who wanted to remain anonymous. C.J., who gets around on his hands and knees after losing the use of his legs, checks out his new refrigerator - which came pre-stocked with all his favorite foods.
